The thread is a mobile anchor that allows us to traverse all corners of the cosmos in an endless movement. With this piece, I attempt to provide a symbolic interpretation of women's autonomy and poetically liberate the ultimate meaning of their existence. Weaving enables us to revalue ourselves as women and take control of our gender. We must take the reins of the threads to question patriarchal discourses and make femininity a proposal of equality, desire, and creation in an ongoing quest for our own voice.
The fabric is a metaphor for a pen that writes life and existence, through color and texture.

Eve embodies love, sensitivity, and imagination. By being possessed by the serpent she becomes a possible wink in a patriarchal culture.
The serpent of obscure, mysterious psyche seduces Eve; it gives her pleasure by revealing to her the possibility of dreaming of a sensual world. Being the first to imagine disobedience, she propitiates the "fall", making us free to choose and allowing us to imagine other possibilities than what has already been given.
Now that we have given in to pleasure, all of humanity will pay for it. Yet the fall is not a curse; rather, it is a privilege. It is the story of how humanity becomes human.

This series reflects the power and resilience of women, as well as their vulnerability to external and internal changes. Through the use of various techniques and mediums, I have explored the constant metamorphosis of the female body, the adaptability of roles, and the diverse ways in which women interact with their environment. These visual representations evoke a profound connection with nature, where life itself is an infinite cycle of change and transformation.
It is essential for me to emphasize that this series of pieces does not seek to establish a single narrative or a definitive view of the constant change in the role and body of women. Instead, it invites reflection on their existence and acceptance. Through my work, I aim to break the idea that stability and permanence are essential elements in women's lives, highlighting instead the beauty and strength found in their capacity for adaptation and change. Furthermore, I wanted to represent a sort of evolutionary convergence, in which some organisms become more alike as they coexist and encounter similar environmental challenges or ecological niches, developing akin characteristics, despite not sharing a common origin.
With this series, I have embraced my own evolution and learned to appreciate the beauty of ephemeral and transient moments.
